The Cubs
12 Months - 2 Years
Our nurturing space for the youngest members of the Kids Cove family. Designed for toddlers aged 12 months to 2 years, this room is a haven of exploration and discovery. Our caring educators are dedicated to fostering the early stages of development through activities that encourage sensory exploration, basic language acquisition, and motor skill development. In the Cubs room, every day is a new adventure, filled with learning opportunities that are just right for our littlest learners.
The Black Bears
2-3 Years
The Black Bears room provides a safe and nurturing space for our youngest children to grow and learn. Our experienced caregivers help toddlers develop their fine motor skills, language abilities, and social-emotional skills through age-appropriate play and activities.
The Grizzly Bears
3-4 Years
In the Grizzly Bears room, our curious little learners explore the world around them through play, art, music, and movement. Our educators encourage the development of communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills through interactive activities and group projects.
The Polar Bears
4-5 Years
Our oldest group of children, the Polar Bears, engage in a range of activities designed to help them develop their skills and knowledge in preparation for their transition to kindergarten. In this room, we emphasize literacy, numeracy, and social skills through our innovative, age-appropriate curriculum, which combines creative learning methods with hands-on experiences.

What kind of curriculum do you follow?
Each of our classrooms at the center follows the Teaching Strategies: Creative Curriculum. This curriculum helps educators promote development and learning, fostering each child’s social competence. This curriculum is used to help enhance each child’s knowledge and prepare them for the transition into the older class and, ultimately, kindergarten.
Do you have a unique designated playground?
Our center is fully equipped with outdoor play equipment for every child at our center to enjoy and develop their large motor and imaginative skills. Each age group has specific developmentally appropriate toys for their designated outdoor time.
Will my child be playing with bigger kids?
Each class has the same age group of kids, and on the playground, children ages 2-3 years will only play with kids of similar age. From time to time, when ratios allow, children aged 3-5 years may be seen playing together outside on the playground. However, all children will be in the same age range in their respective classes.
What happens if my child gets hurt or sick?
The safety of each child is a top priority at Kids Cove, which is why injuries and illnesses are taken very seriously. If a child gets injured at our facility, we will care for the child’s needs. The parents are immediately contacted with the severity of the incident. From there, communications will ensue to determine the next steps. If a child gets sick at the center, the parents will contact them to discuss further care. Children with a fever of 100.1 or higher will be sent home and not allowed to return until the fever/illness has been resolved for at least 24 hours. Our sick policy will dive further into our handbook.
What are drop off and pick up procedures?
We open at 6:00 AM. Please do not drop off your child before the opening. Parents are expected to accompany their children and sign them in.
We close at 5:30 PM. Please allow enough time to arrive, sign your child out, and leave by closing time.
Your child will need to be signed in via our HiMama app as well as in the classroom. It is required that the parents greet the teacher with the child to ensure the transition of care from the parents to the center. Failure to do this will impose unnecessary safety concerns for the child.
Does the facility have a camera system?
Yes, the facility does utilize a camera security system that allows parents to stream what their child is doing in real time through the app.
Does Kids Cove accept state certificates?
Yes, we will be accepting state certificates.

Full and Part-Time Childcare (2-5 years)
At Kids Cove, we offer flexible and dependable full and part-time childcare services for children aged 2-5 years. Our experienced educators and caregivers are committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment that promotes your child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
School Age-Summer Program (5-12 years)
Keep your children engaged, entertained, and educated during the summer months with our exciting School Age-Summer Program! We offer a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, and field trips, all designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and a love for learning.
Monthly Parents Night Out (for students on roll at the center)
Parents deserve a break too! Our Monthly Parents Night Out program offers you the opportunity to enjoy an evening out while your children have a fun-filled night at Kids Cove. Rest assured, your little ones will be in safe hands and will have an amazing time with their friends.
